PARAPARAUMU - AN AVIATION PLAYGROUND
Paraparaumu Airport has developed over the years into a major, comprehensive aviation and teaching centre. Unlike Wellington Airport, commercial airline traffic is rare, thus overcrowded airspace, frustrating delays and extra expenses are non-existent!

We are fortunate to operate from this well equipped aerodrome boasting numerous sealed and grass runways. Kapiti Coast is an area well recognised for its moderate weather conditions.

This enables us to design well structured programs, providing continuity and minimizing disruptions to schedules and learning processes. Paraparaumu is within easy driving distance of Wellington and Hutt Valley Cities in the south, and the Horowhenua Region in the north.

HOW TO FIND ASSOCIATED AVIATION
  • When you arrive at the traffic lights on State Highway One at Paraparaumu, turn into Kapiti Road where a sign post indicates the Airport.
  • Continue down Kapiti Road past the Airport control tower. If you look across the airfield you will see our large hangar complex on the western side of the runway, with the name "HELiPRO" above the hangar doors.
  • Our driveway is well sign posted at the far end of the Airport. Turn left at McGrath Ave and follow the Airport perimeter road to our buildings – see you there!
